Dr. Chantry provides stable and natural-looking full-arch tooth replacement using dental implants.

Stable and Beautiful Full-Arch Replacement Teeth

6-post-dental-implantDentures have long been the conventional method of replacing a full arch of missing teeth, and until recently were the only solution available. Dentures, however, have numerous disadvantages, such as slipping, making noises when you speak or eat, and providing only minimal chewing power.

Wearing dentures also exacerbates bone loss in the jaw. This causes the dentures to become looser as time goes by, resulting in the need for repeated relines and refits. This eventually reaches a point where no denture can be made to fit well.

Implant-supported dentures provide increased chewing power and stability

Portrait of mature woman smiling with green apple in handModern technology has made it possible to eliminate the problems with traditional dentures by supporting dentures with dental implants. Implants hold the dentures stably in place, significantly increase their chewing power, and help preserve the bone in the jaw.

Depending on your needs, the dentures can either be fitted so they snap onto the implants while still being removable, or they can be permanently fixed onto implants. Each option has its own unique advantages.

Dr. Chantry is highly skilled and experienced in implant-supported full-arch tooth replacement. He will expertly place all of your implants as well as provide you with top-quality replacement teeth that are durable, natural-looking and well-functioning.

Our Lifelike and Stable Implant-Supported Denture Options

Below are our implant-supported denture options.

Implant-supported removable snap-in dentures

implantsupporteddentureslargeDr. Chantry can place a series of three to five implants that will firmly retain a denture in position by means of special snap-in attachments. You will be able to remove the denture at any time for cleaning or other care.

A denture retained this way will not slip, will need no messy adhesives to keep it in position and will provide between 50 and 75 percent increased chewing power as compared to a regular denture. You will no longer have the irritation and sores that are part of wearing loose dentures, and you will be able to eat many more of the foods you need and enjoy.

Stabilizing existing dentures with implants

denturestabilization1Dr. Chantry can sometimes stabilize an existing denture using dental implants. He will place a series of implants on your arch and retrofit your denture with snap-in attachments so it can be firmly retained in place.

This will stabilize your denture so it will not move around in your mouth and will feel comfortable when you are wearing it. You will also enjoy increased chewing power and will be able to eat more of the foods you need for proper nutrition.

Implant-supported fixed-in dentures for maximum chewing power

fixed-in-denturesDr. Chantry can also use implants to provide you with a denture that is permanently fixed-in and can only be removed by a dentist.

A permanently fixed denture is the strongest and most lifelike option. It provides about 95 percent of the chewing power of natural teeth, allowing you to eat anything you want. Additionally, your upper denture will not have the false palate that inhibits your sense of taste, and the pressure put on the implants from chewing will help maintain the bone volume of your jaw.
