Porcelain veneers are thin facings that are bonded to the front surfaces of teeth in order to change their shape, size or color. They have a lifelike appearance with the strength, durability and beauty that only porcelain restorations can provide, and do not wear or discolor like natural tooth enamel. If you are unhappy with the look of your smile, porcelain veneers may be the ideal solution.
Dr. Chantry is highly trained and experienced in cosmetic dentistry, and Dr. Chantry has been placing top-quality veneers for over 20 years. He takes meticulous care in every aspect of the procedure to ensure your results are completely natural-looking and aesthetic.
Top-quality materials for beautiful, durable veneers
Our doctor uses top-grade materials for your veneers, and picks which material will work best based on your specific needs. He uses beautiful and durable, layered porcelains that have the translucent look of natural teeth. When extra strength is needed, he can use an ultra-strong and lifelike porcelain called “zirconia,” which is among the latest advances in dental materials.
Lumineers® Minimal-Prep Veneers
Our office is a provider of minimal- prep veneers by Lumineers. Unlike conventional veneers, which require removal of tooth structure before being placed over your teeth, Lumineers are very strong and ultra-thin porcelain veneers that require little-to-no tooth reduction, and therefore no injections of anesthetic. For patients with thin enamel or sensitive teeth, this can be an excellent option.
Lumineers are so durable, they resist wear for more than 20 years. The doctor will let you know if you are a candidate for Lumineers, and can show you what your final result will look like in a digital simulation.

Our Porcelain Veneers Procedure

Our doctors use a shade guide to help determine the appropriate shade for your new veneers.
Our doctors take great care throughout the procedure to ensure your veneers are beautiful and long-lasting, and that you are totally happy with the results.
Smile consultation
The doctor will consult with you in detail about your smile goals, and will work closely with you to formulate a custom treatment plan that completely meets your needs and desires.
Designing your smile

We take digital photos as part of planning your new smile.
The doctor will take full digital photos as well as impressions of your teeth. These will be used for planning the shape, size and color of the veneers. For extensive treatment, your doctor can also create a wax model of the proposed smile design and present it to you to help determine the final look to be achieved.
Dr. Chantry uses high-tech measuring equipment to analyze your jaw motion and bite alignment as part of the planning. In this way, he can assure that your teeth will be prepared and your veneers will be placed in a way that supports optimum bite function.
Tooth preparation and high-quality temporary veneers
The doctor will gently prepare your teeth by removing just enough tooth structure to compensate for the added thickness of the veneers. An impression of your prepared teeth will then be taken and will be used by the lab to make your final veneers. Quality temporary veneers will be placed at the end of your appointment so you have an aesthetic smile while your finals are being fabricated.
Try-in and final placement

You will have a chance to “try in” your new veneers to ensure you are happy with them before they are placed.
The doctor will show you your final veneers before placing them to ensure they look exactly like you want. A “try-in” paste will then be used to place the veneers in your mouth so you can look at them as they will appear once bonded to your teeth permanently.
The doctor will make any adjustments as needed and obtain your final approval, after which your veneers will be permanently bonded to your teeth. Your new veneers will give you a bright, beautiful and rejuvenated smile!
Dental Bonding—an Economical Alternative for Minor Changes
Dental bonding is the process of applying a tooth-colored resin to your teeth to cover up or repair small cosmetic or structural flaws. Bonding can be used to close small gaps between your teeth, make your teeth longer or change their overall shape. It can also be used to repair chips or cover rough surfaces or discolored areas.
Bonding is a quick and economical solution for minor changes, but it loses its color and some of its volume over time and is not as stain-resistant or as durable as porcelain veneers.
